This painting was the first soft pastel piece I did that I loved enough to include on my website. I have been practicing and learning this medium over the past several months and it has been so fun! It’s gorgeous and unique, messy and fun. The way the pastels blend is breathtaking to me. I have realized through playing around with this medium that this is a great way for me to access child-like joy and wonder that is so often missing from adulthood. I want more!
